Dates, Package Deposit, & Payment Schedule
Reservation Dates
There is a 3-night minimum stay required but you can stay 3-7 nights as long as they all fall within the date range of March 22-29, 2025. The couple is planning wedding events for all guests on March 23, 24, and 25. So plan accordingly! We recommend arriving on March 22nd and staying until the 26th, if not later! Select your dates on the reservation form below. The room categories listed below are available on a first-come, first-served basis.
Trip Deposit & Payment Schedule
A payment of $200 of your total reservation is all that is due to secure your stay in the room block.
October 20, 2024 is the deadline to book your room and pay for your reservation. Any reservations requested after this date can be added, if rooms are available. Reservations submitted after this date are due in full.
Payments towards your balance can be made monthly. Have Ring, Will Travel sends out monthly statements each month after you have approved and deposited for your package, where you can optionally apply a payment free of interest.
Since the resort is not located in the United States, the hotel is not required to comply with the U.S. Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990.
The public areas and restaurants at the hotel are wheelchair-accessible, just not wheelchair friendly. There are three rooms that are wheelchair-friendly with roll-in showers in the bathrooms. If you need a wheelchair accessible room, please request this on the reservation request form below.

If you enjoy alcohol (which we know this group does), you’ll have magical mixology options from classy bars for a sophisticated cocktail to beachfront and pool bars with scenic views. Premium spirits are also included at this five-star resort for all guests. There will be no scheduled bar crawl, but we wouldn’t be surprised if an impromptu bar crawl occurs! Gilly Gilly!
The beach is one of the most exclusive beaches bordering the Caribbean Sea (we can confirm that the beach is "Grammie approved"!). The calm ocean makes it swimmable for all adults, and the sunbathers will be able to choose from plenty of Bali beds. The sand is powdery white, soft, and perfect for a relaxing beach day, morning run or nighttime stroll. There is beach bar service as well, so you can enjoy a tropical beverage or a cerveza as you gaze at the turquoise blue ocean. We know Andrea will have her pina colada and Ken will have his corona in hand (and we won't judge either of you if it's too early!).
There are water sports that all guests can take advantage of, which include: kayaking, snorkeling, aqua gym, aqua zumba, and stand-up paddle boarding (aka SUP boarding per Roro), and more. We hope to see a kayak / paddle board race. Our money is on Nick.
If you need even more relaxation, head over to the NUUP Spa for a massage! [Alyssa and all the fellow ladies deserve a massage. HINT HINT HUBBIES!] Or, feel free to practice yoga, participate in a sunrise stretching session, go for a fat bike tour around the resort, take an authentic Mexican culinary class (Poochie!), have yourself a tequila tasting, or check out the art gallery.

FAQs
Can I book a room on my own or with my own travel agent?
The couple has paid a deposit to pre-reserve rooms for your group. They have a group contract that allows them to offer additional benefits for their guests. The group requires that you book your hotel within our designated group contract only available with Have Ring, Will Travel.
There are several reasons why you should honor the group's wishes and book the hotel portion with the group:
Groups are given priority status at the resort, so you might miss out on some VIP treatment.
Groups are given priority room assignments, so if you book directly, you're likely getting a room that couldn't be sold to a group. It will be leftover inventory, probably in a undesirable location away from everyone else.
Groups are given priority in terms of an oversold situation. If the hotel over sells, your group is protected but his reservation is not. You could be walked to another location.
This group has special spa and golf discounts only for rooms booked as part of the block.
Guests who do not book within the group contract unfortunately:
Will not get the discounted group rates
Will not receive any pre-departure, trip support or post-trip support from me. I cannot assist with travel arrangements made outside of the group, nor can I assist in the event of an emergency.
Will be required to pay for a wedding pass on property to attend wedding events for all three days of events.
Do I need a passport to travel?
Yes, all international travelers are required to have a passport. To learn more about the application process, please visit the U.S. Department of State website.
A Passport Book is required. Passport Cards are not valid for air travel. If you already have a passport, please check the expiration date. Additionally, the US State Department recommends that international travelers have 6 months of validity remaining on their passport after their return trip date.
Is travel insurance required?
While travel insurance is not required, it is strongly recommended, because you never know what life will throw at you. Vacations are a big investment, and losing it for any reason can be disappointing. Travel Insurance can help protect your investment, should anything happen before or during travel.

What about Airfare?
This room block is room-only, meaning we encourage you to book your own airfare for your trip. Because of high demand for rooms in this block, we further recommend that you book your room as early as possible and purchase your flights when they are released.
We will send you an email closer to travel to collect your flight information so that we can help arrange transfers and include your flights on your itinerary.
The airport to fly into for this resort is CUN (Cancun International Airport) and is located about 40 minutes from Atelier Playa Mujeres.

Our phone call business hours are M-F mornings, with M-Th afternoons available via email only. If you need an appointment outside of these hours, please email with your availability and we can cross-reference our calendars. Please note, we do typically book a few weeks out for evening phone calls availability.
Can I bring my children?
Atelier Playa Mujeres is an adults only resort. Children are not permitted. Additionally, our group space is limited so we can only allow those who were invited to attend. No kids, no babies, no exceptions.
The check-in time starts at 3 pm and the check-out time is at 12 pm. If you arrive early, your luggage will be stored for you while you enjoy the resort.
Any specifics that I should pack?
What time is check in/Out?
Sunscreen, bathing suits, and positive vibes! Don’t forget your specific attire for certain event celebrations! More info on this at a later date.
Is there a gym? What about excursions?
Yes, Atelier has a great gym and health bar. The resort also has an exclusive fitness activities program for all guests to enjoy from aqua strong, pilates, functional training, HIIT, and stretching. We are planning fun group activities but Sara will also be sending some links for excursions when we are closer to travel.
Can i rent golf clubs? What is the cost to play?
Yes, you can rent golf clubs! We have a negotiated discount for golf for rooms that are booked as part of our block. Additionally, if you stay in an INSPIRA level room for 7 nights, you will receive two included rounds of golf. Brandon will have a guys golf day planned, but it will be completely optional for guests. More info on this later.
Can i drink the water? Is there bottled water available?
While the resort does filter the water, it is generally recommended to drink bottled water. Bottles of water are plentiful around the resort, in your room, and at bars. Restaurants served filtered, bottled water during meals and all food is prepared with filtered water, as well.
Are all wedding guests invited to all events planned from Sunday, March 23 - Tuesday, March 25, 2025?
Yes! All of Alex and Brandon's guests will enjoy the fun events they have planned. Some activities will be optional, and no one will be required to run a 5K with Alex.
