I’ve been living that gluten-free life for over a decade and I love to share everything I know about traveling in the Caribbean and Mexico with dietary restrictions with all of my clients. I’ve been married to my hunk of a husband (oh, heyyy, Trev) since 2011 and we’ve been traveling together to find the best beaches (and Celiac-safe sushi spots) the Caribbean offers ever since.
My favorite Caribbean trips are those that are a bit more quiet and intimate - you know, the ones where you arrive feeling a bit frazzled but by the end of the week, you've read a book or two, eaten your weight in delicious food, seen some sights, and slept in a few times. If you made me pick my favorite Caribbean islands, I’d for sure list Jamaica, St. Lucia, and Turks & Caicos.

You don't have to live your life fearful of new experiences. With a little education and some awareness, you can travel well and see the world, even with dietary restrictions: I'm proof it can be done!
Years of experience traveling in the Caribbean, Mexico, and Europe--I started traveling internationally in high school (over 20 years ago *ahem*) and I haven't stopped since!
Food safety is one of my top concerns when traveling--I need to ensure our meals are Celiac-safe and that the chef and kitchen staff are trained about cross-contamination... plus, I want to have great food options and not be forced to eat bland meals all week!! We deserve to have mouth-wateringly delicious options! I bring this personal knowledge to my work with you and will never suggest a resort that has underperformed to a client with food allergies or sensitivities.
